Seen & Heard: Pasanella & Son

••• From ROC: “ROC on TV tonight on Bravo, ‘Bethenny Ever After,’ 7:30 p.m…. And we are on every night thru Saturday. Check out Bravo’s website for schedule! Hear Rocco sing!” (This was from yesterday but it seems to still apply.)

••• From Marco Pasanella of Pasanella & Son wine shop in the Seaport : “I’m excited (& slightly terrified) to let you all know that I’ve written a book, Uncorked: My Journey Through the Crazy World of Wine (Clarkson Potter), which is about a guy (me) who turns his perfectly good life upside down to follow his dream and open up a wine shop. The book comes out on May 22. More later. Meanwhile, you can preview it (on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Google books, iBookstore, Indibound and Scribd), if you’re curious.”

••• “Trinity Wall Street is collecting essential classroom supplies for distribution to K-12 public schools in the Lower Manhattan area through March 16. Donations can be purchased from a wish list posted at Amazon and shipped directly to Trinity, or dropped in collection baskets inside Trinity Church (Broadway at Wall), St. Paul’s Chapel (Broadway at Fulton), or 74 Trinity Place. Requests include binders, dry-erase markers, art supplies, hand sanitizers, filler paper, calculators, paper towels and ballpoint pens.”

••• From the Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center: “Construction of a new 18-story Aloft Hotel began in February 2012 at 49 Ann Street, between Nassau and William Streets. General contractor Metal Stone Construction is building the new boutique hotel, which is part of an international chain affiliated with the W Hotel.” I don’t believe that’s one of the many new FiDi hotels that we’ve already heard about.

  1. I think most residents would appreciate if Bethenny Whatchamahoodle & her camera crew would stay above Canal or in the middle of it.
