I have tested the waters at the 16,000-square-foot bathhouse. While it has some kinks to work out, it’s pretty spectacular. Start training for the heptabathalon!

Every now and then someone copies me on an impassioned email that I think might foster debate, so I’m starting an occasional series called Open Letter. Up first: Hal Bromm’s plea to the Landmarks Preservation Commission regarding the proposed design for a new building at 11-15 Leonard.
