In the News: Le Restaurant

••• When I mentioned the Travel + Leisure article that includes Tribeca, I didn’t realize that the cover was… Playing Mantis?

••• The New York Times has a blurb about All Good Things. Of note: “The intimate downstairs restaurant, Le Restaurant, [will] open in mid-October with a $70 to $80 prix fixe menu with no choices that will change every day.”

••• “The current incarnation of Delmonico’s opened all the way back in 1837, making this the restaurant’s 175th anniversary. The living legend, whose roots go as far back as 1827, is celebrating this milestone by expanding to Midtown, with a new location due to open sometime this Fall. Details are scant in terms of location and actual opening date.” —Eater

••• “Former Curbed intern and architecture student William Weber” came up with a different look for the Verizon building at 375 Pearl; it “calls for replacing the windowless facade with a continuous curtain wall.” Why is the sign still there?
