It’s time once again to pick through the preliminary agendas for the monthly CB1 committee meetings. They’re subject to change, so if an issue is important to you, check here before heading off to the meeting. My comments are underlined. (If you only care about Tribeca, scroll down to the photo.) NOTE: CB1 says the agendas online are currently incorrect—they can’t update them just yet.

3) 65 West Broadway, application for restaurant liquor license for 65 West Broadway (no restaurant name established yet) – Resolution No name yet? Is Michel Cohen’s restaurant—which looks on the verge of opening—no longer Saleya? And didn’t it already go before CB1?
4) 50 Varick St., application for liquor license for Spring Studios New York – Resolution The photo studio and event space coming to the old Verizon building opposite the Holland Tunnel off-ramp circle.
5) 458 Greenwich St., application for a restaurant liquor license for Filioxenia – Resolution Looks like Turks & Frogs (pictured above) is closing—something that had been close to happening a while back—and a Greek establishment (based on the name, which means “hospitality, more or less) is taking its place.
6) 157 Duane St. application for a restaurant liquor license for Kio – Resolution Kio (or maybe Kyo?) is Marc Forgione’s Southeast Asian–inspired restaurant, which had been slated for Elizabeth Street, but which couldn’t get community board approval there (CB2 board is tough). It’s now looking like it’s coming to the Duane Park restaurant space, although Forgione partner Chris Blumlo says the details are still being worked out and you won’t be dining there till early next year at the earliest. Still, good news! (Update: Forgot to mention that Blumlo says it’ll be held over till the December meeting.)

9) The following notices have been received for renewal, upgrade or transfer of wine and beer or liquor licenses:
—74 Worth St., application for renewal of liquor license for RBC Bar Wait one minute! Renewal? I’ve always thought this would become an Atera-ish bar, and I still think so. (The Atera bar in the works is said to be in the basement.) Or are they just renewing it to keep options open?
