In the News: Another Pier 40 Proposal

••• Seven kids’ sports groups hired an architect to come up with another plan for Pier 40. “The proposal […] would redevelop what’s currently parking just back from the pier into 600 residential units at the western end of Houston Street and create a total of about 10.5 acres of open space, including new sports fields and an elevated running track.” I wonder whether adults would be able to use the facilities. —Wall Street Journal (rendering courtesy WXY)
