When Peace & Love closed for renovations on Dec. 30,  the sign on the door said it’d be three months. Then they said it’d be more like four months. As we approached six months—with no sign of work—the general feeling was that Peace & Love was bowing out the way so many restaurants do (i.e., with a whimper). Someone even suggested that Baked take over the space.

But no! Yesterday, Yoko I. tweeted the photo below. It looks like the renovation is finally starting. And the rebranding appears to already be in effect on the website plcafe.com, and the menu for the sister locations in Mexico is here. (It’s in Spanish.)
