••• Hudson River Park has created a Twitter account for its RFPs, and it’s been actively encouraging restaurants around the city (and beyond) to participate in the Pier 26 restaurant RFP. You can see why the one below made me smile.

  1. Well, unless the “Honorable” Margaret Chin & Scott Stringer wrote the check out of their personal funds, then it would be more accurate to say they were just doing their job and got some of OUR tax money redirected back to OUR community (aka Our Neighborhood Improvement District)
Whaaaa? The Honorable David Bouley running a restaurant at HRP? Sweet Jesus, Josephine, & MaryAnn’s – who is running the HRP twitter feed? His food is triple AAAmazing, but he just finally got control of his outside planter empire, so pah-leeeze, give him so breathing room. Oooh, that should be the name of a potential new Bouley restaurant in the old, but-always-renovating, “Industria Argentina” space – “The Breathing Room.” Don’t let Drew Nieporant near that space. He killed Centrico, so he’s is dead to me and all that loved a good pitcher or three of Sangria!
