Seen & Heard: Amenities at 443 Greenwich

••• The best look yet of 37 Warren’s rooftop addition. Sorry about the haze—I shot it through a window.

••• If you sign up for emails from 443 Greenwich, the big conversion underway in northwest Tribeca, you get this info sent to you: “Residents will enjoy a 24-hour doorman, 24-hour concierge valet and live-in resident manager. 443 Greenwich will feature a 71-foot indoor swimming pool, children’s playroom, landscaped roof terrace, fitness center, private fitness studios, as well as both men’s and women’s locker rooms with steam rooms and saunas. There will be private storage rooms and a wine cellar. Also, a limited number of indoor parking spaces will be available for purchase. Preview showings will begin in late fall of 2013, with the on-site sales office scheduled to open in the spring of 2014.” A 71-foot pool is mighty nice! Although why not go four feet more and have a 25-yard pool, which is a standard length? (That’s what Asphalt Green has.)

••• Tony sent in this photo of the Pier 26 restaurant-in-progress, although he says there was no progress happening when he walked by: “Not a single soul at the site at around 2:45 on Friday afternoon.” He also noted that there’s a charging station for mobile devices near the playground on Pier 25.

••• The Radio Lilac crafts marketplace at the Lilac (docked at Pier 25) will be Sept. 28, 1-7 p.m. There will also be music and a cash bar.

••• “New York Wine Festivals announces the NYC Autumn Wine Festival at Conrad New York in downtown Manhattan on Saturday, November 9. The autumn tasting event will feature 200+ wines curated by Vintry Fine Wines plus light fare by Union Square Events, Conrad New York’s exclusive caterer. Attendees will also enjoy live contemporary jazz performances during each tasting session by Grammy®-nominated guitarist Gil Parris.” Tickets are $99.

••• Is this a thing? (I tend to read all advertising imperatives as if they’re angry, so when I see this, I read, “Chop your own goddamn salad!”) Anyway, it’s at Canyon Ridge deli on Church, if you think you’re ready.

  1. Until the HRPT Amendment bill is signed into law by Cuomo, and the provisions in it that make Pier 26 legal, they have made this a stalled project once again.
