••• Tetsu, the Masa teppanyaki restaurant coming to 78 Leonard, has one of those construction signs saying that work will be done in spring of 2014. Also of interest: This peek of what the façade will look like.
••• Thanks to Y. for sending in this photo of Banksy’s McDonald’s statue, currently at Greenwich and Chambers.
••• More details on Matt Bernson‘s sample sale: Oct. 24-27, noon to 7 p.m., 129 Grand (between Crosby and Broadway), “up to 70% off women’s flats, heels, wedges, boots, and more.” And yes, credit cards will be accepted.
••• New Amsterdam’s October market is this Sunday. Here’s the list of vendors.
••• The Ricky’s Halloween pop-up at Broadway and White—not to be confused with the Ricky’s next door (or the one coming to Park Row) or the Spirit Halloween pop-ups at Broadway and Franklin and Reade between Church and W. Broadway—is also evidently the site of some sort of emerging fashion designer market. Let’s hope customers can tell the difference.
••• The Loopy Doopy—the rooftop bar at the Conrad New York—is closing for the season after tomorrow night.
••• 84 White appears more or less done—and still no marketing for it, on the site or online. Weird, no?
