Seen & Heard: New Coffee Shop

••• The café at the southwest corner of Fiterman Hall (Barclay and Greenwich) is now open. It’s called Barclay Street Café and it’s open to the public.

••• From Friends of Bogardus Garden: “This Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., we’ll have live music, treats from local restaurants, class demos, and tons of crafts and activities for the kids. Plus: face-painting, glitter tattoos and a raffle to win a giant pumpkin and pumpkin pancake breakfast, courtesy of Cosmopolitan Café.”

••• At 103 Greene (between Prince and Spring) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31: The Greene Street Haunted House, created by kids for kids. Plus: games and treats.

••• Add ARC Athletics on Staple Street to the list of businesses handing out candy on Halloween, starting at 3 p.m. (“We also have something special to give to the moms!”)

••• Whole lotta work finally going on at 99 Church (sorry, 30 Park Place), site of what will one day be the 80-story Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New York Downtown. Seriously, that’s it’s name. Perhaps we can call it the Foseho Presnyd.
