Seen & Heard: Progressive Private Club Not Happening Here

••• “Freezer cools are almost all installed,” emailed D. with this photo of the Brookfield Place ice ink being installed. “Ice should follow shortly.”

••• There was just one recorded sale in Tribeca on StreetEasy in the past seven days, so your weekly Real Estate Sales Report is pictured at right.

••• Tarbell Industries, the progressive bar/private club planned for 145 Nassau, is no longer happening there: “The coop board had a dispute with the retail owner, Time Equities, that couldn’t be resolved, so we’re looking at alternative locations,” says Kate Albright-Hanna.

••• State Senator Daniel Squadron is having another of his Community Conventions on Monday, Nov. 18, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Downtown Community Television Center, 87 Lafayette (between White and Walker). RSVP by emailing squadron@nysenate.gov (and mention that you’re attending the Manhattan one).

••• Hatch Collection and Serena & Lily—one is women’s fashion, and one is home decor—are having a pop-up at 25 Howard through November.

  1. I heard from one of the store owners nearby that the retail owner couldn’t put a bar in even if they wanted to. One of the terms of the lease with that building. No bar/alcohol establishments allowed. looks like a nice spot for a flower shop!
