Telepan Local Appears to Be Open

courtesy Telepan Local“Hello Tribeca!” tweeted chef Bill Telepan yesterday. “This is happening.” He included the photos above. (If you’ve just joined us, Telepan is opening Telepan Local—a more casual offshoot of his popular Upper West Side restaurant—in the old Industria Argentina space at 329 Greenwich.)

I replied, asking if that meant the restaurant is open for business, but he didn’t respond. Anyone know? (The only other mention on Twitter was by Audrey Sokoloff, who wrote, “Lamb tartare. Grilled cheese.  Beyond.”) Obviously, as soon as I’m back in town I’ll check it out.

Telepan also tweeted a photo of the menu…. It’s longer than the abbreviated one on The website says it’s open from 5 p.m. and also notes that reservations are not accecpted for parties smaller than six.

  1. Looks like this menu is the combination of the “All Day” and “Dinner Menu” from the website.

  2. Everything is pretty damn delicious! Check it out!
