THOSE BIG PLANS FOR THE SEAPORT HAVE BEEN PAUSED
The city pulled the emergency brake on the Howard Hughes Corporation’s redevelopment of much of the South Street Seaport. A task force with members from various entities—the Economic Development Corporation, residents, politicians, and the South Street Seaport Museum—will lead the discussions for the site.
