Seen & Heard: New York Sports Club on the Way Out?

70 Lafayette 31014••• The gorgeous building at 70 Lafayette is getting a much nicer storefront, if the rendering (click to enlarge) is true to life.

••• Here’s the letter that Centurion Real Estate Partners sent out to tenants of 22 River Terrace today.

••• I hear that 174 Hudson (southeast corner of Vestry) is indeed going to be the sales office for a new residential development; the lease is for two years. It has to be for 443 Greenwich—where, by the way, I hear that work is in fact being done.

••• I also hear that 151 Reade—current home to the New York Sports Club—is on the prowl for a new tenant. Sorry if that’s your gym. And hey! It may not happen, right? And I could have heard wrong! And NYSC could be looking for somewhere bigger and better!

••• Tom Adams tweets that Caviarteria appears to be open, perhaps softly, in the old Silver Lining space on Murray. I’ll pop by tomorrow. Today is too nice to do any more work.
