••• Four memorials commemorating Port Authority police officers who died in 9/11 have been added to Freeman Plaza, the park/plaza on Hudson, by the Holland Tunnel onramp.

••• Racines NY is opening April 16. You can get a sneak preview this Thursday at Chambers Street Wines’s tasting of wines from the Jura with “the dynamic Stephane Tissot of Domaine Andre and Mireille Tissot.” Tickets are $100.
••• The plywood came down from around 27 Desbrosses (at Washington)… and it looks the same as it did before. That may not mean that the restaurant isn’t happening—when I spoke to the proprietor in January, he said that the best-case opening would be late fourth quarter.
••• J&R looks even grimmer than it did the other day. Signs say that they’re moving stuff around, but….
