Just in from Notify NYC (which could certainly give more warning about this stuff)….

The Red Bull Air Force Dive Team will conduct a film shoot (weather permitting) over the Hudson River near Governors Island and Battery Park City, Manhattan on Saturday, May 17, between 6 AM and 9 AM. The event will consist of five members of the dive team exiting one Cessna 208 aircraft at an altitude of approximately 7,500 feet, and landing on a barge situated on the Hudson River (just north of Battery Park City’s North Cove Marina), while being filmed by an AS355 Helicopter. The U.S. Coast Guard will provide a safety zone in the river for this activity.

If postponed due to inclement weather, this activity will be held on Sunday, May 18, during the same time frame.
