••• I hear that 379 Broadway (that’s the storefront’s address; the building is 377 Broadway), at the southwest corner of White, will be a Keller Williams Realty office.
••• Terra looks nice without the sidewalk shed and with the Campari umbrellas (and even better when they’re open).
••• Get an early peek at Grand Banks, the boat bar coming to Pier 25: “Join us this summer for the Savor Bristol Bay Dinner Series with New York Times bestselling author of Four Fish, Paul Greenberg. Paul will lead a guided salmon dinner, transporting guests to Bristol Bay, Alaska where fishermen are fighting to save the world’s largest sockeye salmon fishery. While Paul shares stories and excerpts from his newest book, American Catch, guests will enjoy a specially-prepared dinner featuring fresh Bristol Bay sockeye salmon.” It’s June 30; no clue what the price is.
••• June 22 at 3 p.m.: “Magical Moments of Ballet!” at Stuyvesant High School, with “students of New American Youth Ballet and introducing Classical Ballet Community (New American Youth Ballet and a full professional orchestra conducted by: Maestro Aurelia). A fully staged classical ballet mixed program featuring Paquita, Carnival of the Animals, Les Syphides, ‘Let It Go’ from Frozen and introducing our original ballet, The Helen Keller Ballet.” More info.
••• Last night’s meeting of the Community Board 1 Landmarks Committee included a discussion of 87 Leonard, which was 75 percent renovated before it changed hands. The new architects, DXA Studio, were there to present a revised storefront (which will be residential) and the penthouse, which will be barely visible from a small stretch outside the landmarked district. Anyway, this is what they presented—the committee wanted some changes, which the Landmarks Preservation Commission may or may not agree with. Sorry it’s such a crappy image; I had to use my phone. Pretend it’s a watercolor, OK?
