Seen & Heard: Easter Egg Hunt

••• Lower Manhattan Community Church‘s fifth-annual Great Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 10 Desbrosses. You can expect—you didn’t think I’d go for the “eggspect” pun, did you? I’m far too hard-boiled for that—”egg hunts for toddlers through 3rd graders, games, crafts, prizes and photos with the Easter Bunny.” It’s all free.

Lower Manhattan Community Church Easter Egg Hunt••• Pookie & Sebastian signage is up at 147 Reade.

••• Just came across this, but it may have existed for a long time: You can earmark donations to Hudson River Park’s Tribeca section.

••• I was walking by American Apparel last night—after dinner at the bar at Almond, where I enjoyed the wheatberry soup—and I thought the store had even more of a “winding down” vibe than usual. Anyone else sense that?

••• Next up in the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center’s Lost Jazz Shrines series, which “is dedicated to restoring the memory of legendary New York City jazz venues,” is a celebration of “the legacy of the legendary Royal Roost and Miles Davis. The Royal Roost was a jazz club located at 1580 Broadway.” It’s April 10.
