••• My husband’s company’s holiday annual party was last night at Little Park, and the venue was a hit. Of special note to those of us who love the celery root schnitzel sandwich at lunch: One of the passed hors d’oeuvres was schnitzel nuggets on toothpicks.

••• From Arts Brookfield: “The Global Beat Festival will return to the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place from Thursday, May 7 to Saturday, May 9. The lineup features acclaimed musicians from around the world, half of whom will be making their New York City or U.S. debuts.”
