RUMOR #1
An urgent-care facility is said to be opening at 95 Chambers, in the space between Lot-Less and European Wax Center. (That’s the back part of the relatively new 77 Reade condo development.)

RUMOR #2
A worker at 83 Chambers, former site of Less Less, told me an army/navy surplus store was opening there. He seemed pretty sure of it, so I guess this is less of a rumor and more of a newsbit.

RUMOR #3
The word around Reade Street is that Equinox’s cut-rate Blink Fitness chain is taking over the recently closed New York Sports Club facility at 151 Reade. I tried to confirm it with Blink or Equinox, but got nowhere. And of course I also heard Gap was interested, so take this with a grain of salt.
