••• “A one-alarm fire broke out on the roof of 45 Warren Street in Tribeca early Thursday evening, causing the roof of the five-story condominium building to collapse, according to a witness, and sending three firefighters to New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital with minor injuries.” (The dramatic video above by Nate Grede can be reached here if it won’t play on your device.) —Tribeca Trib
••• Downtown Express has heard that Cirque du Soleil will be performing at Givenchy’s Pier 26 fashion show.
••• Refinery29 says that the downstairs at the Rosa Mexicano opening on Murray will be a bar: “Masa y Agave promises a tequila-centric cocktail program from Courtenay Greenleaf, also known as La Biblioteca’s ‘tequila librarian.'” (Hope the fire mentioned above—and more pertinently, the water damage—doesn’t affect the restaurant too much.)
