••• A reader pointed out that the Friends of Washington Market Park’s Halloween Costume Parade and Party is on Sunday, Oct. 25 (1-3 p.m.) and not, as you might expect, on Saturday, Oct. 31 (because that would conflict with the Greenmarket). But neither of us have any idea when business owners will be welcoming trick-or-treaters. Care to enlighten us?

••• Khe-Yo chef Phet Schwader will be cooking at the Tribeca Greenmarket this Saturday around 11:30 a.m.

••• The report about Ignacio “Estala” Mattos opening a restaurant at Sixth and Spring made me wonder exactly which building; it’s this one (on that spur west of Sixth, where the Ducati dealership is).

••• And this is the building on Canal and Renwick where the DogPound gym will be.

••• Meanwhile, the big Related rental building at 261 Hudson is coming along. What I didn’t realize till the other day is that the Renwick side (second pic) is set back way off the street.
