Lotus Blue Has Left Tribeca
M. noticed a sign in the window at Lotus Blue, the Yunnan restaurant at 110 Reade, is closed as of today. The good news is that come December, it’ll still be within walking distance, as it’s moving to somewhere on the Soho stretch of W. Broadway. (The website doesn’t mention anything about the closing let alone the new location; I’ve emailed an owner.) It opened in February of 2012.
“Maybe another children’s clothing store?” asked M. You’d be a fool to bet against it, that’s for sure.

$10 on a realty showroom.
That’s a shame, it was popular with my kids and my parents, and of course, me. Will have to see where they open up, but much less likely to hike up there with a large group…
