5) 225 West Street, Pier 25, application for vessel liquor license for J. Butera on behalf of an entity to be determined – Resolution

My understanding is that a vessel liquor license means the drinking occurs while the boat is not docked. What’s mysterious is, well, read this from last July’s Unofficial Minutes: “Manhattan Yacht Club got booted from North Cove Marina, which means it needs to find a way to get people to its floating clubhouse/bar, the Honorable William Wall, which is moored out by Liberty Island. The organization signed a contract with Liberty Landing, which operates the marina concession at Pier 25, to allow it to use the pier to pick up and drop off guests. But then the Hudson River Park Trust decided that such an agreement violates the terms of its contract with Liberty Landing, which prohibits commercial use of the pier, so Liberty Landing told Manhattan Yacht Club that it had to cancel. All of that happened after Manhattan Yacht Club had applied for a liquor license, which I guess it has to do in relation to its utilization of the pier. The committee decided that the matter needs to be settled between the three parties before it could/should/would weigh in on the liquor license, and there was hope it will get worked out in time for the full CB1 meeting.”

6) The following notices have been received for renewal, upgrade, or transfer of wine and beer or liquor licenses or sidewalk cafe permits:
—325 Broadway, application for a liquor license for Pasta Shop LLC d/b/a Bar Primi 305 Church Street, application for renewal of sidewalk cafe license for Los Americanos

As discussed here, this appears to be two items: a liquor license for an outpost of Bar Primi at Broadway and Worth, and a renewal of Belle Reve’s liquor license. UPDATE 2/29: This is two items, but the first one was supposed to be a renewal (not a new license) for Bar Primi’s original location (at 325 Bowery, in CB2 or 3)

—460 Greenwich Street, renewal of sidewalk café license for Estancia 460
—90 Thomas Street, application for renewal of liquor license for Emporio 50, LLC
