The appearance industry continues to colonize Tribeca: MB45, is opening at 93 Worth (one of the spaces next to Woops!). Manhattan magazine says it’s related to the Maria Bonita salon on Prince Street:

This Brazilian beauty bar, founded in 2003 by Fernanda Lacerda, provides resplendent blowouts for all hair types ($45 to 60) while ensuring client comfort. Their second location, set to open this summer in Tribeca, has been named MB45 after the new Glam a Go-Go package, which includes a blowout and manicure done simultaneously in 45 minutes ($70).
