••• Not long after I posted about Xtend Barre’s plan to open in Tribeca, one of the proprietors emailed to say it’ll be on Warren.

••• There’s going to be a Thunderbirds demonstration on Friday morning: “At approximately 9:30 am on Friday, September 2nd, seven F-16s will flyover the Hudson River. The aircraft will make two southbound passes and two northbound passes at approximately 2,000 feet and at high speed. The aircraft fly over will generate loud noises.”

••• An update on Saks South End Fifth Avenue at Brookfield Place, opening Sept. 9, from the reader known as Hudson River: “Merchandise is starting to show up. The pix with the mannequins and merchandise are first floor; the other two are the second floor hallway. They’re also adding an entrance on the circular driveway side.”
