Fine Dining Is Coming to the World Trade Center

The not-terribly-exciting restaurant situation at Westfield World Trade Center is taking a turn for the interesting. From the New York Times: “Chef Daniel Humm and his [business? life?] partner, Will Guidara, who own Eleven Madison Park and the NoMad in Manhattan [are opening a restaurant that] will occupy 7,000 square feet on the ground floor of the 3 World Trade Center tower and will overlook the Oculus.”

According to Grub Street, it “will occupy a 7,000-square-foot ground-floor space.” And that’s all we know at this point. Below: a rendering of the base of 3 World Trade Center.
