Seen & Heard: Serafina Opening Forecast

••• Chef Paul Liebrandt, formerly of Corton, returns to Tribeca for a one-night pop-up dinner at Ichimura with sushi chef Kazuo Yoshida. Tickets are $330 plus tax and 20% gratuity.

••• Serafina is shooting to open around the end of July.

••• I thought these were pigeon tracks in front of Wolfgang’s, but they’re actually from a rat. Perhaps this one?

••• AKC Pet Care LLC, which operates the AKC Canine Retreat chain, bought the Spot Canine Clubs in Manhattan, including the one on Murray, and Spot will be rebranded as AKC Canine Retreat. AKC Pet Care is a for-profit affiliate of the non-profit American Kennel Club.

••• Work is about to start on the bike lane project in east FiDi. I still wish they’d put up signage discouraging cyclists from riding westward through City Hall Park.

••• From S.: “I’m looking for 1000-1500 square feet of office space in Tribeca. I have already tried brokers but they don’t have this size in their official listings. Any thoughts or suggestions?” Anyone who has a lead can email tribecacitizen@gmail.com and I’ll forward it.
