Seen & Heard: WeWork on Beach Street?

••• Update #1: A tipster told me that the “organic skincare” business opening at 115 W. Broadway (first photo below) is likely ONDA Beauty, the natural cosmetics shop that was supposed to be opening at 51 Hudson, and ONDA confirmed the move. The tipster also said a “high-end furniture store” could be coming to the corner space at 51 Hudson, currently the office of H&H Building Consultants (second photo below). The person who answered the phone at H&H said, “We’re not leaving,” which may or may not be meaningful.

••• Update #2: Yesterday, I mentioned how I had heard a school had rented 53 Beach. A commenter going by the name Tribecan heard something else: “Rumor has it WeWork scooped up the lease for a premium over the Montessori of Manhattan and that’s why Montessori lost the lease. Unverified—but have heard this from a number of people in real estate.” Interesting….

••• Last November, I wrote about Farm. One “inside the Institute of Culinary Education, which is at Brookfield Place; it specializes in herbs, microgreens, and edible flowers.” At the time, it announced a Tribeca location. And now, you can tour the farm at ICE or in Tribeca: “Experience rare herbs, edible flowers, microgreens and more inside our clean, year-round indoor Manhattan farm. A unique evening starts with an introduction to the science behind indoor farming, followed by an opportunity to taste dozens of unusual flavors, accompanied by complementary drinks. This one hour tour will introduce you to sights and flavors from around the world, with a free gift box to take home yourself and use in your own cooking. There is no other food tour in New York like this.” The tour is $50. And Farm. One is also finally selling its produce.

••• The Parlor private club, currently at 286 Spring, is moving to lower Fifth Avenue, where it sounds like it’s merging with something called Omar’s Private Dining Club.

••• A 9/11 Memorial Chopper is on display at Brookfield Place, at the top of the Winter Garden stairs.
