Seen & Heard: “A Few More Weeks” for Tetsu

••• Quick Cryo, the cryotherapy place next to Sweaty Betty, is opening tomorrow.

••• And Tetsu says we just have to wait “a few more weeks” for the restaurant to open. Below: “Masa burger device in speedy action!

••• A month ago, I smelled a gallery at 88 White; the plywood is down, but no indication yet of what’s coming (if anything).

••• City Vineyard announced its schedule of intimate Voices on the Hudson concerts. It’s an intriguing list, but they are no advance reservations available. The details: “These special shows will be limited to 100 GA tickets (seating will be first come first served) and guests will be able to enjoy a seasonal bistro menu before, during and after the show. City Vineyard opens to the public for Happy Hour from 4-6 p.m. and performances will start at 8:30.” N.B. On February 12, Michelle Shocked will be joined by Todd Almond.

••• Have you been to the Tuesday Greenmarket at the plaza on the north side of the World Trade Center Oculus? I’ve been impressed by the variety of produce—the vendors sell items we don’t have in Tribeca. (The Golden Russet apples, browner than they look in the photo, were amazing.)

  1. Thank you for posting about the Oculus greenmarket. Russeted apples are my favorite, and not easy to find!

  2. Yes! I love that greenmarket. Great for a lunchtime produce run.
