In the News: Another Tenant for 3 World Trade Center

••• “Management-consulting giant McKinsey & Co. is moving its Manhattan headquarters from 55 E. 52d St. to Three World Trade Center [….] McKinsey will take about 200,000 square feet on floors 60 to 64 of 80-story Three World Trade Center, including a 5,000-square-foot, south-facing outdoor terrace on the 60th floor.” I don’t think any other office tenants have been announced besides the GroupM ad agency and this. —New York Post

••• “A Bronx-based drug ring that ran an ‘on-call cocaine delivery service’ to the Wall Street area was busted in a multimillion-dollar trafficking scheme, law enforcement said Monday.” —New York Post

••• “Quick pasta comes to the financial district with [E Pasta] specializing in what they call Miller’s Wife Pasta, a single 30-foot-long strand for one person dressed in vodka sauce. There are other pasta dishes on the menu, which also has salads and croissant sandwiches.” It’s at 20 Maiden Lane. —New York Times

  1. This is defintley a win for 3 WTC. 200,000 sq ft is a nice chunk of space, and they are bringing 900 executives over to the tower. This along with all the tenants in 1, 4 and 7 WTC makes it nice to know thousands of people work at the Trade Center again. Now its time to get 2 WTC up.

    • Absolutely. It’s about time the WTC became the humming center of business and commerce as it had been since the ’70s. We need normalcy in our community.
