Total travel time from the World Trade Center is a fairly reliable 45 minutes and the cost is around $20.”

  1. Or take Path to Newark Penn and then the 62 bus to the airport. $4.35 total.

    • Never took the time (nor need) to get a PATH senior card, but, Bus #62 is $.75
for seniors – exact change required. It is a local bus to Elizabeth, NJ but ‘almost’ express to the Newark Airport with about 3 stops.
I found this route some years after the towers were destroyed and we no longer had the direct bus to Newark Airport outside of the Vista Hotel.
If you live in lower Manhattan every airport is only 1 hour away via public transportation, subway station to terminal (JFK is A train + air train).

  2. Surprised to not see any press on the violent attack that took place in the afternoon in front of the Whole Foods building. One man was taken to the hospital. Apparently attacked by two of those street candy peddlers.
