Baxter & Liebchen Is Closing Its Store

Baxter & Liebchen, the company specializing in midcentury Scandinavian design that moved from Dumbo to Laight Street in the summer of 2015, is closing its store at the end of the month. (It will continue to operate online.) In the meantime, there’s a huge sale: “Three quarters of the store is drastically marked down,” says owner Andrew Kevelson. “Many, many pieces are marked down 50% or more! And we’re accepting offers on the few non-sale items as well.” The photos below are not recent, so use them to a general sense of what you’ll find, rather than a specific one. The store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
