Seen & Heard: John Allan’s Reopening Date

••• Love this drawing of Tribeca Synagogue by Flavin Architects.

••• On April 28, the Municipal Art Society is running a two-hour Field Guide to Tribeca tour.

••• The John Allan’s men’s salon on Washington has closed in advance of its reopening in the eastern half of the old Dylan Prime space (which should happen on Saturday morning, according to the note on the door).

••• Always nice to see local businesses/organizations working together.

••• There’s work happening in the W. Broadway storefront of 60 Hudson. It could be an installation for the intermittent A+E Studios gallery, I suppose, but the work looked more substantial than that. On the other hand, 60 Hudson’s website still lists the storefront as available.

••• Not sure what’s happening on this balcony at Truffles Tribeca, but it made my day.
