Another Broadway Condo Is in the Works

The residential boom on Broadway shows no sign of letting up. The next big project in the works is at the southeast corner of Broadway and Franklin: “HAP Investments has purchased a development site in Tribeca for $46 million, where it is planning to build a 40-unit condominium project,” wrote the Real Deal. “The property contains 64,430 buildable square feet, although this can increase to 77,000 with additional air rights. […] Although the project was previously addressed at 360 Broadway, the team decided to rebrand it as 65 Franklin Street. Koicim said some buyers seemed turned off by the Broadway address, and interest picked up once they changed it to Franklin Street.”

Presumably, the rendering above was for marketing purposes only. What it doesn’t show, of course, is the 18-story building wrapping around behind it, with frontage on Franklin and Broadway.

  1. Noticed earlier this week that Tribeca Upholstery and Draperies just moved to that block at 358 Broadway.
