••• I emailed Michael Levine at Community Board 1 on Friday, and he replied that he has officially retired. Great for him, bad for us—his depth of knowledge about the neighborhood and city processes will certainly be missed. Plus, he has always been as nice as can be.
••• J. noticed what I think is a new Aretha Franklin tribute at the Franklin Street subway station. (There had been other, less prominent ones.)
••• People near Pier 17 got a real shock this past weekend! Great photo by Thomas Cawson of Kembra Pfahler at the recent Wigstock.
••• Chipotle put up signage saying that the Greenwich/Murray store will reopen on September 30.
••• Cladding is underway at 25 Park Row. The photo is blurry because I shot it through a car window on the way to the airport.
••• The TV show “Instinct” is back shooting in the area tomorrow. This flyer was at Church/White.
