Takeshi, the sushi restaurant in the former Ato space at 28 Grand, soft-opens tomorrow, December 4: “Our soft-open special will be a 90-minute sushi-only omakase served Tuesday through Sunday with seatings at 5 p.m., 7 p.m., 9 p.m., and 11 p.m. Seatings are reservation-only. We have a no alcohol policy for our soft open (none served, no BYOB), as well as a short-notice cancellation charge: any cancellations within 48 hours of reservation will be charged full price. Our menu will vary daily due to seasonal availability, causing the price to fluctuate around $100-$130. Short-notice cancellations will be charged $130, since our daily price will be hard to predict. For reservations, call or text 917-625-0771.”
And that’s all we know about it, other than what we learned back in October: “We are a group of young entrepreneurs new to the restaurant industry,” said one of the folks involved.
