In the News: More details on murder of Vestry Street woman

The Times has more details on the death of Vestry Street resident Paula Chin, whose body was discovered in a garbage bag at her second home in New Jersey. Her younger son, Jared Eng, and two accomplices have been charged with concealing the body; one accomplice told police that Eng confessed to the murder.

Architectural Digest has an interview with designer Hubert Le Gall, whose first US retrospective is open at Twenty First Gallery at 76 Franklin. “Already a household name among design insiders the world over, the show offers visitors an opportunity to discover Le Gall’s world of animals, flowers, and delightful snapshots from his imagination. On view will be a range of works, from lighting to tables, case pieces, seating, and objects.”

  1. Last summer my daughter, grand daughters, and I found 2 sentimental rings at the park on the Pier in Tribeca. The Gazette helped to get the rings back to the owner.This past weekend I lost a ring of keys that were on a canvas wrist strap with anchors on it. The keys are most likely along Hubert Street or Greenwich. Is there a lost and found website for the neighborhood? It can’t hurt to ask, right?
