Seen & Heard: Dance classes for adults

ADULTS DANCE TOO
The “Me Time” columnist for The Times, Marisa Meltzer, reviews the Move dance classes run by former pro dancers held at the Chambers Street studios of Gibney dance. The class is taught roughly every other week and is only announced spontaneously via the teachers’ instagrams. But if you want more consistency in your life, come once a week to the adult jazz class run by local resident and Downtown Dance Factory’s own Hanne Larsen, Tuesdays at 9:30.

HUBERT ON HUBERT
In honor of spring, I am running this guy — spotted and snapped by E. on March 2, one of the city’s only snowy days of the season. In the climate-change-is-real department, the city’s snowfall this year hit an all-time low. Since 1869, the city has had only nine years with no measurable snowfall from mid-November through mid-January.
