In the News: Delays for park named for Elizabeth Berger

The Broadsheet reports that the park way downtown named for civic activist Elizabeth Berger has slipped an additional five months behind schedule, according to the park department. The public plaza will be bounded by Greenwich Street, Edgar Street and Trinity Place, along with an exit ramp from the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel. The effort to build the park is being spearheaded by the Downtown Alliance to honor Berger, its former president who died in 2012 from pancreatic cancer.

NO-DUST RENOVATIONS
The Journal features three Tribeca apartments (one in Fidi) that made major changes with superficial renovations.

CROWN SHY REVIEW
The Post’s Steve Cuozzo called Crown Shy in Fidi “comfy, convivial and noisy without being raucous.”

PART OF THE PROBLEM
AlleyWatch (whatever, but it looks like a blog for the tech/startup/VC world) has a interview with the founder of Blueground, yet another factor in why our real estate prices are so inelastic: “Simply put, Blueground leases carefully selected, high-quality properties [in Tribeca and the West Village] from prominent landlords in the major markets across the U.S., upgrades those apartments to fully furnished, turnkey rentals, and uses technology to automate all aspects of the experience.”
