Seen & Heard: Local landscape architect + Pier 55

PIER 55 PRESENTATION
Open House New York will present Projects in Planning: Pier 55, a special presentation with Paul Westwood from the pier’s design firm, Heatherwick Studio; local resident Signe Nielsen from Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects; and Celine Armstrong, the project manager for the pier TODAY, Tuesday, April 23, 7p, at the SVA Theatre, 333 W. 23rd St. The pier will have three acres of parkland as well as an outdoor theater and a smaller performance space. MMUSEUMM OPENS NEW SHOW
The tiny museum of contemporary objects called the Mmuseumm will host its 2019 opening ceremonies on Friday, April 26, 7p sharp (their word) at 4 Cortlandt Alley. And for further explanation: “Now is always weird. Now must have been weird for the Neanderthals. Now was certainly weird during the Middle Ages. And now is definitely weird now.”

9/11 VICTIM FUND INFO SESSION
