SUMMER VINYL AND CD SALE
ARC will hold its summer record and CD sale from June 8 to 23, every day from 11 to 6, at its offices at 54 White. The archive has tons of jazz recordings, jazz books, mint Jamaican and Brazilian CDs + LPs and the usual pile of very nice rock LPs and 45s. Collectors: for less than $100 you can get EVERY great Jamaican single ever issued on box sets and CDs from Trojan, Studio One and Soul Jazz and promo items donated by The Rolling Stones, the Beggars Group and Atlantic Records.
On June 20, from 7 to 8p, the archive will host a musical event with Susquehanna Industrial Tool & Die Co., Rockabilly favorites, and will be open late that night till 9 and part of the Tribeca Art+Culture Night Festival. More info: 212-226-6967 or info@arcmusic.org.

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING EVENT
The Downtown Alliance will host an e-waste collection event on Fulton between Cliff and Gold this Sunday, June 9, from 11a to 4p. See the full details on what’s accepted here.

EVERYTHING LAVENDER ON GOV’S ISLAND
The Lavender Field on Governor’s Island will host a series of weekly and seasonal events starting this Sunday, June 9. The weekly Sunday events run from 2:30 to 3:30p and include sessions on boutonniere making, honey syrup making, sachet making, meditation with Buddhists, yoga and more. NB: events are for ages 9+.
For a fee, you can pick your own bouquet on Sundays from 10a to 2p on June 9, 23 and 30 and Saturdays noon to 4, July 6 through 27. There will also be a Lavender Festival July 20 and 21 from 12:30 to 4 with all sorts of events and DIY projects.

RADICAL LIVING
R&Co at 64 White will feature Italian Radical Design from 1965 to 1975, featuring Lapo Binazzi, in an exhibit through June 18. The feature length documentary film by Maria Cristina Didero and director Francesca Molteni will be shown on loop in a private screening area during the run of the exhibition.

COAST IS CLEAR
The Hudson River Park bulkhead repair is nearly finished, and as a result, the walkway is finally open as workers make final repairs to the pavers.
