MALAYSIAN MASTER AT SAPAR CONTEMPORARY
The work of contemporary Malaysian master Ahmad Zakii Anwar (Zakii) will be on view at Sapar Contemporary through Oct. 15. The show, titled Lust for Life, was curated by Beth Citron from the Rubin Museum of Art in Chelsea. The artist is described by The New York Times as one of the most important contemporary artists in Malaysia but has not shown a lot outside of Southeast Asia. He was recently profiled in a full length documentary titled “The Edge of Obedience.” Sapar Contemporary is at 9 N. Moore.

Now that Dexter enlightened me, after Sonia’s “Where in Tribeca?” this summer, I am seeing these little guys everywhere. This at Hudson and the south fork of Duane.

REAL PILATES – FREE IN FREEMAN PLAZA
Due to bad luck with weather this summer, the Hudson Square BID will reschedule our own Real Pilates in Freeman Plaza West for next Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 6p. Mats are provided, but spots are limited. First come, first served. At Hudson, between Broome and Watts.

EIGHT FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHERS AT SOHO
Through Sept. 28 at Soho Photo Gallery, 15 White: New shows from eight photographers. The gallery is now open every day 1-6pm and by appointment, and as of this exhibit, is running each show for three weeks. Founded in 1971 by a group of New York Times photographers who wanted to create a venue for photography as fine art, Soho Photo Gallery is a non-profit and is operated by member photographers.
