Great news: the family who brought you Thai Sliders will open a new restaurant at 27 Cliff Street, between Fulton and John called Lil Chef Mama. The menu will be similar.

The actual little chef mama is Toon Lau, whose name is in fact Roongkant Preechathammarach, but she couldn’t trust me with the real thing. The restaurant will be open from noon till 11, though she said they may close early if things are quiet.
