Seen & Heard: Tree decorating bandit reveals him/herself

CHARLIE BROWN TREE AT THE FIELDS GETS LOVE
If you happened to pass by this scrappy little tree alongside the fields near Shake Shack, you may have noticed it was adorned for the holidays. Turns out the guerilla tree trimmer was Tribeca Lover, who decided the Charlie Brown original could use a little love for the holidays. She wrote: “As I began to pick up my empty bag of ornaments before the skies really opened up, a man under an umbrella rushing by said, ‘Thank you for doing that.’ I smiled and said, ‘Thank you for noticing.'”

TRIBECA MEDSPA OPENS A FLATIRON LOCATION
Tribeca MedSpa’s opened a second location this month in the Flatiron District inside the Eva Scrivo Salon at 139 Fifth Ave. The salon has a modern, 5,000-square-foot loft space, and owner (and local resident) Camille Meyer and her team will have three treatment rooms there and will offer a range of cosmetic treatments including injectables, PDO threads, anti-aging treatments, CoolSculpting and CoolTone.

RETAIL OR RESTAURANT AT 111 MURRAY?
Steve R. reported he saw a sign on the retail side of 111 Murray that a restaurant was coming, and real estate agent Amy Bonomi said it was scheduled to be Oneseed, which doesn’t seem to pop up in Google. In the meantime, the PR folks for 111 Murray said they have not yet decided what will go in that space, so more info TK.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM THE DoT
A. sent this photo, noting that it seems the DoT is using holiday-themed boots. A funny observation at this Jay Street parker’s expense.

  1. This random act of thoughtfulness warms my soul. It’s kind that someone cares enough and takes the time to add some TLC to a lonesome looking neighborhood tree.

  2. There’s also a tiny Christmas tree outside of Manhattan Youth entrance on Warren St.
