PICK-A-BAGEL ENTERS POLITICAL ARENA
Mayor Di Blasio sent City Hall reporters a dozen bagels from the BPC Pick-A-Bagel – whole wheat, toasted – after he was slammed by the City Hall press corps and in fact New Yorkers citywide for revealing his usual bagel order. “Here’s a toast to Budget Day. Enjoy! Bill,” read a note with the bagels, left in City Hall’s press room before the mayor’s preliminary budget presentation. –Daily News

Meryl Streep’s digs at 92 Laight (River Lofts) have sold for $15.8 million, down from its 2018 listing of $24.6 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.

ANNA WINTOUR HOSTS AT LOCANDA VERDE
Anna Wintour hosted a dinner to benefit NewYork-Presbyterian’s Youth Anxiety Center at Locanda Verde earlier this month, attended by Vera Wang, Wendi Murdoch (both founding members of the YAC) and Kenneth Cole, among others. –Vogue

    • You give DeBlasio way too much credit. This guy has no class. We do not want him or his corrupt whole wheat hands touching any of our good food, including Zucker’s. I hear that he eats bagels with a fork.

  2. Pick-a-Bagel = soft, chewey, delicious, substantial, no lines
    Zuckers: hard as rock, small, takes forever

    I know people love Zuckers but I just don’t get it; what am I missing?
