In the News: Supertall planned for the Seaport

HOWARD HUGHES HAS NEW PLAN FOR 250 WATER
Curbed reports on the 250 Water Street site at the Seaport, and the Howard Hughes Corporation’s current plan to build an up to 990-foot tower on the lot, which will have to be remediated for mercury. The new building would require the transfer of more than 700,000 unused development rights.

BIKE THIEF NABBED IN DUANE PARK

TAKING CAMPAIGN DONATIONS FROM REAL ESTATE
Crain’s dug into the campaign filings and found that several elected officials had taken money from developers in their district, including Assemblywoman Yuh-Line Niou and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Both campaigns said they would refund the contributions.
