How to get your coffee fix in the neighborhood

Good morning: there’s still coffee. Here are the ones I know of; send more along and I will add and update.

KAFFE 1668 NORTH & SOUTH
Both locations are open and serving for pick up or deliveries, but no seating is available (note overturned bench). The hours are changing daily depending on the state’s latest regulations and the traffic. For this week, North (Greenwich and Beach) is open 8a to 3p. (The kitchen closes a little earlier.) South (Greenwich and Warren/Murray) is open 7 to 3:30ish. (The website hours are not correct.)

JACK’S ON READE
Only window service is available at Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee (the Roxy Hotel location is closed) but that will still do the trick. Open from 7a to 3p on weekdays; 8a to 3p on weekends.

LAUGHING MAN
Laughing Man just launched a coffee bag and snack delivery service for Tribeca and Battery Park City. The menu is here for now; more products to be added. Staffing is limited for safety reasons so delivery is same day or next. For orders out of the neighborhood, they will ship. From David: “A few staff members are working to make this happen but many are still home. We have committed to paying them all during this time. My thoughts go out to the whole neighborhood and our fellow small businesses. Tribeca will come through this, and we will do it together.”

GRANDAISY BAKERY
Grandaisy is still serving 7a to 3p for takeout only, and you can use the service window (yes, that’s Erik’s dog) if you don’t want to step inside. You can call to confirm hours and inventory, but for the most part they are serving their coffee, panini and flatbreads. You can also order from the online bakeshop, or order delivery via Grubhub, Postmates, or UberEats. There are also gift cards for sale both at the store and online. 212-334-9435

JOE AND THE JUICE
From their headquarters: This store is not open for customer access but for pre-order via the app (takeaway or delivery services) only. Hours are 8a to 7p, seven days a week.

BLACK FOX COFFEE
Black Fox Coffee at 70 Pine is open for takeout and delivery on their coffee and food, 8a to 4p (kitchen closes at 1:30). “Our Coffee Director Tom is working hard on providing all of our community the best beans for the best cup, amidst the chaos. Feel free to reach out to Tom directly via tom@blackfoxcoffee.com for some insight on which coffees may best suit your palate!” Order online or use their app.

INTERLUDE
From Interlude’s Instagram posted on March 29: “The decision to temporarily close was not made lightly, but we believe it is the right choice and in the best interest of the public health crisis. For those asking how you can help us during this uncertain time, please consider the following: You can purchase an e-gift card to use at the cafe that will never expire. If you’re in need of supplies, we can arrange to ship or have you pick up coffee beans, alternative milks, chai, matcha, loose-leaf tea, or even our freshly baked cookies!”

STARBUCKS
All the neighborhood Starbucks are closed, but if you’ve got wheels and are desperate, you can find a drive-through in Brighton Beach or North Bergen.

  1. That’s one handsome pug.

  2. Hey let’s plug a multibillion dollar chain who cares sooo much about this neighborhood it closed down ALL its locations.

Let’s also tell people to go against social distancing by driving to another borough so they can get their nonessential Starbucks IV fix. So what if you can’t have it for a few days/weeks/months? You’ll live. You know Starbucks won’t be hurting when they get a chunk of that coronavirus relief money and pay as little of it as possible to their workers until they announce otherwise.

What a corporate shill you are. Done with your blog – DONE!

    • Does it feel like the walls are closing in on you at Independence Plaza?

    • Did you even read the post, you self-righteous moron? Four of the five spots she mentioned are small businesses. She was simply pointing out that Starbucks is closed and noted where there are open locations. It must be exhausting being so sanctimonious. Maybe you should consider a permanent quarantine?

  3. jeez-louise Support Local…calm down.

    • I’m guessing Support Local is a guy who doesn’t own a car and is going through Starbucks withdrawal. (and due to the virus he misses his paid paramour).

  4. Starbucks in the SW corner of the AT&T building on Walker and Church is open

  5. What about Interlude? Are they still open? I feel like North Tribeca has been largely ignored by TC lately…

    • Interlude closed a while ago, though I only heard that through a friend.

    • Looking at their instagram, I believe Interlude is doing delivery (and maybe pick up) for coffee beans, matcha powder, and baked goods. You can call them directly to order.

      • From Instagram posted a week ago: The decision to temporarily close was not made lightly, but we believe it is the right choice and in the best interest of the public health crisis. As we learn more information daily, we will continue to assess the best path forward, posting the latest updates at @interludenyc.
For those asking how you can help us during this uncertain time, please consider the following:
-We have a link in our profile where you can purchase an e-gift card to use at the cafe that will never expire
-If you’re in need of supplies, we can arrange to ship or have you pick up coffee beans, alternative milks, chai, matcha, loose-leaf tea, or even our freshly baked cookies!

  6. Joe & The Juice on Greenwich remains open

  7. Black Fox Coffee at 70 Pine is open for coffee and food and is delivering too. I’ve been buying beans there, they are selling their bulk sized bags. These are the nicest people, consider helping them out. I ordered online and picked up, they also have their own app.
