Community Board 1 agendas for May

CB1 is holding all of its scheduled meetings live yet remote on WebEx, a meeting platform that the city provided for all 59 community boards. (I lost the month of April to the COVID time warp, so catching up now with May.) While not as user-friendly as Zoom, WebEx allows the host to bifurcate the meeting between the panelists (committee members) and the public. Members of the public can raise their hands to be recognized or can use the chat function to ask questions. All meetings are being hosted and moderated by district manager Lucian Reynolds.

He recommends that attendees install WebEx on their home computers for the most reliable use — then the links provided will prefill all the meeting info. At each meeting he will circulate a Google form sign-in sheet and a similar form will be used for the full board meeting’s public session. You can sign up for WebEx for free here.

Check for updates to the agendas weekly on the website and email man01@cb.nyc.gov as the principal means of communication with Community Board 1 staff, who are working remotely.
