Bubby’s will start serving again on Saturday

Starting Saturday, May 23, Bubby’s Tribeca location will be open daily from 8a to 8p for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Call for delivery or curbside pickup: 212-219-0666.

There will be many of the usual offerings (stay tuned for the updated menu) as well as new items like cinnamon rolls, potato salad, chicken broth, pie dough, pie making kits and frozen biscuits. Adding that again: frozen biscuits. (These are not easy to make at home. I tried. Twice.)

Ron Silver also has an opinion piece here about what the city’s restaurant industry faces now, and how it must see some significant government support if it is to come back anything like before: “If New York City does not play its cards right, many successful and talented restaurateurs and chefs will not return. Post-pandemic, many will take their sharpened knives elsewhere.”
